MORRISTOWN AIRPORT GOT FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS TO "IMPROVE" ITS RUNWAYS, BUT DID THEY NOTIFY US ALL BEFORE THEY STARTED THIS WORK?

MORRISTOWN AIRPORT NOW WANTS TO LET A NEW HANGAR BE BUILT. THE HANGAR IS 100,000 SQ FT FOR VERIZON.  THERE WILL BE A MEETING IN MORRISTOWN WITH THE COUNCIL ON JANUARY 9 ON THIS PROPOSED BUILDING.

THE PARCEL TO BE BUILT UPON IS IN WETLANDS - 8.4 ACRES OF WETLANDS.  IT IS BETWEEN THE SERVICE LANE TO BLACK BROOK MUNICIPAL WELL AND COLUMBIA TURNPIKE. 

COME OUT TO THIS MEETING ON JANUARY 9 AND DISCUSS AND LEARN ABOUT THIS NEW BUILDING TO THIS AIRPORT.

IMPROVED RUNWAYS SOMETIMES MEAN BIGGER HEAVIER OR MORE PLANES.
